Plugin updates
Single-store and bulk plugin updates — with pre-flight check, retry backoff, log download and mail preview for client info.
Overview
One of the flagship features: plugin updates across all your stores with a single click. This chapter covers the two modes (single and bulk), the pre-flight check and how customer notifications work.
Prerequisite
Plugin updates require the free WebshopRadar plugin to be installed in each Shopware store — see chapter 5.
Single update
Open an installation's detail accordion, find the plugin with an available update, and click Update. Webshop-Radar runs the Shopware CLI update command and streams the log back to you in real time.
Bulk update
From the dashboard header, click Bulk update. Select the plugins you want to update, review the pre-flight check, and start.
Pre-flight check. Before running, Webshop-Radar verifies plugin compatibility, Shopware version constraints and disk space. Any issues are flagged before a single update is triggered.
Retry backoff
If a store returns HTTP 503 (temporarily unavailable), Webshop-Radar retries with exponential backoff instead of failing the whole batch. Failed installations are listed at the end so you can retry them individually.
Audit log
Every update — successful or failed — is logged with timestamp, plugin, source version and target version. Download the full audit log as CSV or PDF for client reports.
Customer notification
With the Customer notifications add-on active, Webshop-Radar sends a summary e-mail to your clients after an update. Preview the mail before sending — see the mail preview modal in the bulk-update dialog.
